At 08:30am I had to go to Raigmore hospital for my pre-op assessment. It was amazingly thorough, I was weighed, measured, blood pressure (they said it would probably be the best they’d see all day and I said “and that’s with me being really nervous!”, blood samples taken, chest listened to, some kind of breathing test (peak flow test I think), many many questions. Once it was over and done with we headed to the big Tesco for a well deserved coffee and breakfast.
Later in the morning we headed over to Findhorn as I hadn’t been before and we ended up having a fab lunch at The Captain’s Table – we’d only gone in for coffee haha.
