I have been an avid photographer since saving up for my first camera when I was just eight years old. I love to try to capture the wonderful light we have here in the Hebrides but am also constantly on the lookout for something different or quirky.
As well as working as a photographer I also use imaging in my work as a web designer – I love to manipulate my images to try to produce something that little bit different.
I am available for freelance work, press and PR photography. I specialise in wildlife photography, environmental & conservation issues and have had work published in British, European and North American magazines, newspapers, books and web sites. In 2005 I was a runner up in the British Bird Photographer of the Year competition with an image of a displaying Corncrake – the only female photographer in the top 20!
National Open Art Exhibition, Mercer’s Hall, London, Oct/Nov 2016 – I was very happy to have my photograph “The Way” chosen from 3,200 entrants!

Walk this Way, The Steading, Callanish Centre, Isle of Lewis, May 2016 – A joint exhibition with mixed-media artist Jane Harlington – Our work explored our experiences walking the Camino de Santiago, 500 miles, on foot, following an ancient pilgrim route from the French side of the Pyrenees, over the Pyrenees and all the way across northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela.
