A friend had a hospital appointment at Balivanich which is on Benbecula, the island north of me – she doesn’t have a car so i took her, it’s a 48 mile round trip. Still very cold but the roads had been gritted and i took the 4×4 so not too bad. It gave me chance to run some errands and get some shopping too. Both photos taken from within the truck – there was no way i was getting out to take the photo it was freezing and blowing a near gale!
