Only three original art cards left

Following the fabulous craft fair and fundraiser for MND Scotland yesterday at Carinish Hall in North Uist I now only have three square original art cards left! Shop – Original Art Cards

At some stage I need to get my paints out again and make some more 🙂

A great time was had by all at the event and Ani and Chrissie have raised over £22,000 for MND Scotland – totally amazing and just goes to show what an amazing community we have here 🙂

Day 98 / 365 – Photo a Day Project 2023

A fabulous day at Carinish Hall, North Uist and it was great to catch up with both other artists and crafters and people that I haven’t seen for a while. Also good to meet new people both locals and people visiting our beautiful islands. Thank you to all who bought from me today!

The hall was absolutely buzzing with people all day, there were 12 tables of crafters around the edge of the hall and tables in the middle for people enjoying tea, coffee and home bakes that had been donated. Raffle tickets were selling constantly and there had been so many amazing prize donations from local businesses and individuals that it took an hour to do the draw for all the prizes. Ani and Chrissie – two local ladies who have been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and who had organised this event announced that over £22,000 had been raised – totally incredible and just goes to show what an amazing community i’m lucky enough to live in. See the MND Uist Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090493836107

Here I am all set up (the walking sticks aren’t mine..)
The hall absolutely packed with people
Managed a wee bit of crochet inbetween customers 🙂

Day 97 / 365 – Photo a Day Project 2023

A busy day preparing for tomorrow, as i’d taken some of my cards up to Kildonan Museum shop a couple of days ago I needed to package some more up 🙂

So, if you are in North Uist tomorrow call in at Carinish Hall for a chat: it is the MND Scotland fundraiser with a fantastic raffle, so many amazing prizes have been donated (and i’m donating a framed print), there are twelve of us artists/craftspeople having stalls there, it’s going to be a great day.
