A fabulous day, I was asked to go to Cnoc Soilleir at Daliburgh to take the photos for the International Women’s Day event and I know that it’s not even three weeks post-surgery but I agreed as it sounded like a great event – and I told them that I would probably need to sit down frequently!
There was lots going on, some fascinating films and a variety of really interesting workshops and culminating in a fashion show of items available at Daliburgh thrift shop. The event was packed and everyone seemed to have a great day.

Had a walk down the road today, large amounts of smoke coming from some muirburn areas on the east side – thankfully the stinky smoke wasn’t coming in this direction!

A composite image of my breakfast items, consisting of fruit, and supplements that I make into a morning smoothie 🙂 plus the glass of hibscus and green tea that I add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to. My aim is to give myself as nutritious a diet as possible to aid my healing.
Day 60 / 365 – Photo a Day Project 2023
A new month – can’t believe it’s March already! A busy day, coffee with Seonaid this morning, spent a couple of hours chattering away, MrT dropped me off and picked me back up as it’ll be a wee while before i’m back driving. Seemed to get distracted with all sorts of stuff in the afternoon (not least the book i’m reading – an Ian Rankin novel). Didn’t get out for my walk until getting on for 5pm but made it onto the golf course – a little further each day!

Lovely weather and good to be out and hear the Lapwings displaying, I heard Snipe also, though not drumming as yet. Walked as far as the golf club again. Today’s image is the 19th hole 🙂
Day 58 / 365 – Photo a Day Project 2023
The yellow irises are growing slowly in all the damp places, it will be a good few weeks before they flower but it’s good to see them and anticipating spring and warmer weather. See the same spot on the 13th January Same puddle but slightly different angle 🙂

A lovely quiet day, weather excellent, calm and settled but pretty cold. Today’s photo is the culvert down the road, looking south, the hilltops of Barra can be seen in the very distance.
