A productive rainy Hebridean afternoon, spent with the paints, doing some card making The ones marked with a red cross are sold already, almost as soon as I posted them on Facebook. If you fancy one they are £3.50 each plus P&P just pop me a message.
People are always asking me for Puffin photos – my collection was meagre so I decided late last year that in 2018 I would make a concerted effort to get some good photos of them. So, after visiting one of the off-shore, uninhabited islands recently I was able to get some great Puffin shots. I’ve just sent my favourite image of the bunch off to the printers to be made into a square greeting card, hopefully they should arrive here very soon! Puffins are so cute! I took hundreds of shots.
Once I receive the order the cards will be on sale here online and at a variety of retail outlets for £2.50 which includes an envelope.
I’ve recently added a new postcard to my range – Short-eared Owl. To be added to the online shop very soon, and are 45p each. They are currently being retailed at the Uist Craft Producers shop and Kildonan Museum, South Uist.
I have to admit I do have quite a thing about Raven’s, they are wonderful birds, what I would call “birds of character”
When this one perched momentarily on a local standing stone I thought it was the perfect shot 🙂 With my love of combining my art and photography I hope you will agree that it makes for a moody, mystical image.
Now available in my online shop as a print, mounted in 12″ x 10″ ready to frame in a standard-sized frame.
A sample of the cards I’ve been working on for the coming season – these cards are the smallest I do and measure just 2.25″ X 3.5″, the image (a mixture of my own art and digital collage) is mounted in black card and there is a white insert for your message to the recipient. White envelope included and neatly packaged into a cello bag. These will be available in the online shop of the website very soon
